Height adjustment of a HiLOW coilover strut

 The vehicle height of the unique LOWTEC HiLOW coilover suspension system can be adjusted by turning the complete damping-spring unit in or out of the lower bracket.
Contrary to standard coilover types the vehicle height will not be adjusted by turning the lower spring cup. The springs are preloaded according to the TÜV certificate („permissible range of adjustment for spring cup seat height“).
In this range the spring preload and the range of spring can be adjusted (max. preload = max. range of spring).

  1. loosen the hex socket screw of the locking ring
  2. release the locking ring from the bracket
  3. spin the spring-damper unit up or down by hand as required
  4. tighten the locking ring
